Project description "Entrepreneur in the Third Millennium" is a strategic project co-funded from the European Social Fund through the Human Resources Development Sectoral Operational Programme 2007-2013. The project aims to support promoting a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship, and disseminating practical information on the opportunity to use the information technology & communications (IT&C) in business by drawing on the skills and competencies of the two partners: MBM Software & Partners and CEED Romania. The project concept consists in providing a complex package of services developed by combining the subjects oriented towards entrepreneurship and business management with subjects oriented towards introducing the IT&C-based concepts, techniques and tools into management. By the project completion in December 2012, training programmes will have been organized in all the 8 development regions on using IT&C in business for about 800 persons, as well training programmes on business inception and management for about 400 persons, and courses for 40 persons on business management and project management, awarded with CNFPA certificates. The impact of the development programmes thus offered will be enhanced via using the integrated electronic services platform created by MBM Software within the "Virtual SME and Virtual Office for Entrepreneurship Build Up and Assistance" project, by promoting the virtual service concepts, and providing technical assistance with a view to using these services intrinsic to the information society.
